Analysis
The Disarmament Conference had a positive effect on the international diplomatic situations during the interwar years. It helped strive to what hoped to be a safe world, by reducing the weaponry that was being placed on navy ships and limited the amount of ships that the navies were allowed to have, as well as putting rules on the usage of submarines. It had a negative effect as well though, the conferences also brought some countries into disagreement with each other and separated themselves because of differences. The conferences were not always attended with full request, and certain ones failed, but in the end it much to make the world a safer place.
